Authorities seek ID of driver who may have information on Nov. 29 fatal pedestrian crash in Sussex County

HAMBURG BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – The Hamburg Borough Police Department and the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking the public’s help in an attempt to identify the driver of a vehicle that may have pertinent information regarding an accident that resulted in the death of a pedestrian, Hamburg Police Lieutenant Jason Tangorra said.

The accident occurred on November 29, 2021, at around 6:14 a.m. near the Sunoco Gas Station located at 170 Route 23 South in Hamburg, Tangorra said.

The vehicle may be a white Hyundai Tucson or a something similar in appearance, Tangorra said.
