Bar crawl kicks-off Hackettstown’s St. Patrick’s festivities

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Business Improvement District will kick-off St. Patrick’s festivities with a bar crawl on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 6:00 p.m. to close at Marley’s Gotham Grill, Bea McNally’s Irish Pub, Man Skirt Brewing, and Czig Meister Brewing Company.

A donation of $20 gets you one sheet of tickets, which includes a ticket good for a beer at each location. The money raised supports the St. Patrick’s Parade Committee.

The BID will host a Grand Marshal Reception to honor 2020 St. Patrick’s Parade Grand Marshal, Mr. Joseph “Joe” Barnes on Thursday, March 12, from 6:30 pm. to 9:30 p.m. at David’s Country Inn, located at 314 Main Street.

The reception dinner features a live pipes and drums performance and an Irish dance performance.

These events lead up to Hackettstown’s highly-anticipated 12th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade on Sunday, March 15 and kicks-off at 3:30 p.m. with Grand Marshal Mr. Joseph “Joe” Barnes from Hackettstown’s sister city, Hacketstown, Ireland leading numerous participants including: Irish dance groups, Irish bands, community groups, bagpipes, drums, Hackettstown and surrounding area fire departments and rescue squads, as well as hometown favorites Junior and Senior Colonial Musketeers and the Hackettstown Community Band.
