Body of man missing from Morris County nursing home found along I-80, no foul play suspected
PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, NJ (Morris County) – A 79-year-old man’s body was found along Interstate 80 after he went missing from a Parsippany-Troy Hills nursing home Friday night, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll.
On February 18, at around 10:29 p.m., Parsippany police were notified by Care One Nursing Home, located at 100 Mazdabrook Road, that John Eschenbach was missing. Attempts were made by various agencies to locate Eschenbach, Carroll said.
Then on Saturday, February 19, Eschenbach was found deceased in a tree line along Interstate 80 at around 12:00 p.m., Carroll said.
“There was no indication of foul play and nothing suspicious reported,” Carroll said.
No further information was released.
