ALLAMUCHY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Due to ongoing water main breaks and repairs a boil water advisory is in effect for all users of the Allamuchy Township public water system, according to the Allamuchy Township Office of Emergency Management.
For those on the public water system, the water has been turned on for Village IV. If you have an outside spigot, run it for approximately 10 minutes or until the water is clear, then run the cold water faucets and flush the toilets at least twice, officials said.
There is a limited quantity of one gallon water jugs available at the Allamuchy Township Firehouse’s Hafner Hall, located at 284 Alphano Road, until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice, officials said.
