Boonton Township police investigating residential burglary

BOONTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred on March 5, police said.

The residential burglary occurred at around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 5 at a residence in the area of Twin Hills Drive, police said.

An unknown suspect forced entry into the residence while the owners were away. It is unknown at this time if anything was stolen from the residence as the incident is still under investigation, police said.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, including camera footage of suspicious activity in the area from the time of the incident, contact the Boonton Township Police Department Detective Bureau at 973-402-4000.

Boonton Township Police were assisted by officers from the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, Town of Boonton Police, and Mountain Lakes Police.
