Brass Roots kick off the summer with free concert on May 20 at Drakestown United Methodist Church

WASHIGNTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Join the BRASS ROOTS for a free concert on Saurday, May 20 at 3:00 p.m. at the Drakestown United Methodist Church located at 6 church Road in Washington Township, Morris County.

Sit back and relax as you listen to your favorite classic songs performed by this electrifying band. With a dynamic blend of rock and rhythm-based music, BRASS ROOTS brings together electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, bass, drums, and a soulful brass section, accompanied by both female and male vocals that are sure to captivate your senses.

Based in Morris County, they cover an impressive range of genres including rock, funk, soul, R&B, and country, making them a perfect choice for music lovers of all ages.

Bring your lawn chair, blanket, snacks and soft drinks to enjoy the music in the great outdoors. In case of rain, the concert will be moved inside to the community building, ensuring that the show goes on. A goodwill offering will be taken to support the Drakestown United Methodist Church Mission Fund.

The Drakestown United Methodist Church is also welcoming the community to join them on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. for an inspiring message. Their casual and welcoming atmosphere allows you to come as you are and be inspired, refreshed, and renewed. Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music.
