Brugler Road Bridge work prompts detour in Knowlton Township

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Warren County Bridge Division is in the process of making repairs to the northeast and southwest stone masonry walls of the Brugler Road Bridge in Knowlton Township.

These walls were damaged earlier in the year by tractor-trailers, officials said.

In order to complete the work safely, a daily detour has been implemented. The detour will be in place every Monday through Friday from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. while a crew is on site. The road will be opened to normal traffic after 3 p.m. daily, and on weekends.

The detour utilizes County Route 605 (Warrington Road) and Route 94, and is relatively short, officials said.

The work is expected to take several weeks and is weather dependent.
