Burglars hit 3 businesses in Warren County strip mall

LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Three businesses at a strip mall in Lopatcong Township were burglarized last month, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

On Dec. 29, at around 4:00 a.m., police responded to Good Guy Vapes, located at 201 Stryker’s Road, for a reported activated burglar alarm. Good Guy Vapes is located in a strip mall containing numerous other businesses, authorities said.

During a subsequent investigation, it was determined that two males had forcibly entered into Good Guy Vapes, Italy Restaurant and Pizza, and No. 1 China Restaurant; by prying the back doors open, the prosecutor’s office said.

Video was obtained from several of the adjoining businesses and residential locations. A review of these surveillance cameras showed two males wearing dark clothing with their hoods up and their faces covered with masks and wearing gloves during these burglaries and thefts, authorities said.

Video also showed that the males had parked a silver-colored Chevrolet SUV bearing Delaware license plate PC136859. The registered owner of this vehicle reported that the license plate was stolen on December 29, 2022, the prosecutor’s office said.

The burglars stole approximately $3,000 from Good Guy Vapes; $5,300 from Italy Restaurant and Pizza, and $300 from No. 1 China Restaurant, authorities said.
