Businesses invited to free job fair with matched candidates

Interested businesses must register by Jan. 13

Businesses are invited to join a free virtual job fair to fill their immediate needs for qualified talent on January 20.

Morris Sussex Warren Workforce Development Board and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development are collaborating to host the event, which will introduce employers with open positions to individuals who have a matched skill set based on the state job matching tool. Current industry sectors represented include IT, manufacturing, transportation, supply chain and support services.

Funding is available to support employers who hire candidates and implement training programs for existing employees.

The virtual job fair will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. To register, email Beth Rodgers, The deadline for businesses to join the program is Jan. 13.

The M-S-W WDB and the NJDOL are committed to bringing resources and funding that support businesses with hiring, training, restructuring, recovery and growth.
