‘Candy Cane Lane Drive-Thru’ event planned for Dec. 12 in Hackettstown
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Business Improvement District, the Hackettstown Recreation Department, and the great businesses of the Hackettstown BID is sponsoring a Candy Cane Drive-Thru safe holiday event on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 5:00 p.m. to 7;00 p.m. at Riverfront Park, located on Seber Road.
This will be a free drive through light and decoration experience. Families will remain in their car to see Candy Cane Lane. Santa and his elf will greet you at the end of the drive with a goody bag for the kids as well as for the adults.
“This will be a fun and safe evening for our community and will be sure to put you in the Holiday Spirit,” Hackettstown Business Improvement District Executive Director Laurie Rapisardi said.
The Hackettstown Fire Department will be driving through town with Santa on their truck on Saturday, Dec 12 with the time to be determined. This event was originally planned for Dec. 5 but was cancelled due to the weather.
“While Santa would love to drive down every street, he may not be able to do so. So please listen for the fire truck sirens which will announce Santa’s Arrival to your area. Please make your way to the closest main street/cross road if you live on a side street so that you can wave to Santa. Due to the pandemic, Santa will not be stopping or handing out candy at this time” Rapisarid said.
