Catherine Dickson Hofman Branch of the Warren County Library System closed for renovations

Interim Spot to Open at Blairstown Municipal Building

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – The Catherine Dickson Hofman Branch of the Warren County Library System in Blairstown Township is now closed in preparation for a major renovation and expansion to begin in November.

Book return boxes are being relocated Saturday to a spot outside the Blairstown Municipal Building at 106 Route 94. Oversized items and electronics will need to be returned in-person at one of the other three branches of the county library system.

In the coming weeks, services including curbside book pickup and the use of copiers and a fax machine will be offered at a satellite location in the Blairstown Municipal Building. Weekday and Saturday hours will be announced soon.

The county library’s three other locations – the Richard D. Gardner Branch in White Township, the Northeast Branch in Independence Township, and the Southwest Branch in Greenwich Township – will be open as usual. Items can be returned to any of these locations. Patrons also utilize libraries in Sussex and Morris Counties through the Open Borrowing network.

Formerly a private library, the CDH library joined the county system in 1995. More information about library services is available at www.warrenlib.org.
