Chinese restaurant delivery driver accused of stealing meals and money

LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Chinese restaurant delivery driver is accused of stealing two meals and over $100 in Lopatcong Township.

On Dec. 21, police responded to No.1 China, located on Strykers Road, for a report of a theft, police said.

Upon arrival, officers were told that an employee, identified as Donald R. Amann, 29, of Phillipsburg, who was hired to make deliveries stole two meals and did not turn in money that he had received from previous deliveries totaling over $100, police said.

Amann was located at his residence and taken into custody. He was charged with theft and released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance, police said.
