Congressman Kean tours flood-damaged communities in Warren County with Governor Murphy

BELVIDERE, NJ (Warren County) Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) Monday toured flood damage in Belvidere with New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and local officials.

“I am thankful to Governor Murphy for coming to Warren County to survey the damage caused by the floods over the past number of days,” said Congressman Kean. “I want everyone affected by this storm to know that they are not alone in the rebuilding process. We are here to help you any way we can.”

After initially touring flood damage in Warren County, Congressman Kean urged the Governor Murphy to declare a state of emergency on July 16.

Governor Murphy declared a state of emergency on July 16, opening the necessary resources critical to protect New Jerseyans and stabilize those communities.
