COVID-19 case count in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – Here is the latest case count of COVID-19 in Warren County as of 6:30 p.m. on May 5, 2020:

According to the health department, a total of 2 fewer cases than reported Monday because further investigation has shown that some of the cases reported previously actually live out of our jurisdiction. Also some presumptive-positive labs were rerun and resulted in a negative, so those cases were also deducted.

COVID-19 cases of residents in long term care facilities:

• Franklin Township – 1
• Frelinghuysen Township – 77
• Hackettstown – 29
• Lopatcong Township – 165
• Mansfield Township – 52
• Phillipsburg – 5
• White Township – 31

TOTAL: 360

There are 95 COVID-19-related deaths reported to the WCHD; 75 are associated with long term care facilities, health officials said.

The Warren County Health Department is now investigating and classifying “probable” cases of COVID-19; these cases must fit clinical and epidemiologic criteria (most commonly, un-tested, symptomatic household contacts):
