Crack cocaine, marijuana found during traffic stop in Mansfield Twp.

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Two men face drug charges following a traffic stop in Mansfield Township.

On Sept. 18, at 1:29 p.m., a township detective stopped a vehicle after allegedly observing it failing to maintain its lane, police said.

During the stop, the detective allegedly located crack cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.

The driver, Jerrold B. Vanhorn, 45, of Stroudsburg, PA, was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and failure to maintain lanes. He was released with a court date.

A passenger, Craig A. Alford, 46, of Trenton, NJ, was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. He was lodged in the Warren County Jail pending a court appearance.

Another passenger, Kathleen M. McKochan, 43, of Stroudsburg, PA, was found to be wanted on a $500.00 contempt warrant out of Newark. She was released with a new court date.
