CrimeStoppers: $1K reward offered for information on attempted burglary in Morris Plains

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ (Morris County) – Morris County CrimeStoppers is offering a $1K reward for information into an alleged attempted break-in at Aires Jewelry Store in Morris Plains, authorities said.

On July 27 at around 6:45 p.m., three suspects were involved in cutting the power to the Aires Jewelry Store located on the corner of Route 10 East and Harrison Avenue. 

Surveillance video showed one man checking out the rear of the store before another man and a woman return, cut the power box lock and shut down the power to the store. The first man is seen on Harrison Avenue using his cell phone as an apparent lookout. 

The suspects leave the property without any attempt to gain access to the store.

No one will ask your name and you could receive a reward up to $1,000.
