CrimeStoppers: Police seek help ID’ing person that attempted to break into a vacant Morris County building

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ (Morris County) – Police are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a person that attempted to break into a vacant Morris Plains Building.

On Monday, December 13, at around 6:50 p.m., an unknown person attempted to enter a vacant commercial building, located next to Arthur’s Tavern on the comer of Franklin Place and Speedwell Avenue, by ripping the screen and pushing open an unlocked window. The building had two other windows that had also been tampered with, however, no windows were pushed open, authorities said.

Customers from nearby stores were present and observed the crimes as it occurred, authorities said.
