CrimeStoppers: Reward offered for information on suspects in car burglary, credit card theft case in Morris County

CHATHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The Morris County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the suspects responsible for a motor vehicle burglary in which multiple credit cards were removed from the victim’s purse.

The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Loantaka Brook Reservation in Chatham Township on Tuesday, April 11 between 4:40 p.m. and 6:40 p.m., authorities said.

The victim’s credit cards were then used to purchase gift cards and electronics at BJ’s Wholesale Club, located at 1601 Route 22, and Target, located at 1515 Route 22, both in Watchung Borough, authorities said.
