Crowds turn out for Hackettstown’s International Day and Maifest despite weather

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Crowds of people still turned out for the Hackettstown Business Improvement District’s International Day and Maifest on Saturday afternoon, despite some rainy weather.

The festival took place on Valentine Street and Grand Avenue from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Hackettstown Mayor Jerry DiMaio kicked off the event with a beer tapping at Man Skirt brewing and at Czig Meister Brewing Company.

There was an assortment of live entertainment, activities, cuisine, craft beers and demonstrations by Classic Ballroom.

The Mariachi Oro Dey Mexico Band, Peter and the Wolfgang, “Kudos” Barbershop Quartet, Rory O‘Moore Pipes & Drums and Big Easy Band performed during the day.
