Day 2 of Hackettstown’s Oktoberfest to feature, beer tapping with Mayor Jerry DiMaio, free boneless wing tasting at Marley’s, wiener dog race, music and more

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Hackettstown’s Oktoberfest runs 3 days, from Friday, Sept. 23, through Sunday, Sept. 25. Join the Hackettstown Business Improvement District, Czig Meister Brewing Company (106 Valentine St), Man Skirt Brewing Company (144 Main St), and Bea McNally’s (109 Grand Ave) as they host events throughout the course of the weekend.

Here are the activities and music scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24:

  • All Day – Axe ‘Em Out Throw House (Czig Meister)
  • All Day – Open Corn Hole, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four,
  • Frisbee & Ball Toss, Face Painting & Dunk Tank (Bea McNally’s)
  • All Day – Open Corn Hole (Czig Meister)
  • 12:00p – Man Skirt Beer Tapping with Mayor Dimaio (at Marley’s)
  • 12:00p-1:00p – Free Boneless Wing Tasting (Marley’s Gotham Grill at 169 Main St)
  • 12:00p – 4:00p – Performances by HHS Cheerleaders
  • 12:30p – Barrel Tapping w/ Warren County Commissioners (Czig)
  • 12:00p – 3:00p – Outcrops (Czig Meister)
  • 1:30p – 4:30p – Peter and the Wolf-Gang (Main Street & Grand Ave)
  • 3:00p – Wiener Dog Race (Czig Meister)
  • 4:00p – 6:00p – Roaming Oompah Band
  • 4:30p – Philly Pretzel Eating Contest (Valentine Street)
  • 5:00p – Beer Stein Hold USSA WOMEN’S Competition (Man Skirt)
  • 5:30p – 7:30p – Axe Throwing (Bea McNally’s – outside)

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker.
