Daytime lane closure to continue at Easton-Phillipsburg ‘free bridge’ March 6-10

The Easton-Phillipsburg “free bridge” is scheduled to be restricted to single lanes in each direction from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 6, to Friday,  March 10, according to the according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The travel restriction is for electrical and lighting work related to 18-month-long Northampton Street Bridge Rehabilitation Project.

Any travel impacts should be minor with motorists experiencing only periodic brief delays.

A left turn lane is expected to remain available at the bridge’s Easton side during lane-closure periods.
