
Deputy Director Jeff Kuhl addresses attendees at Hunterdon County Academy Awards Ceremony
HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – Deputy Director Commissioner Jeff Kuhl on Monday addressed the award recipients and their families, at the 2023 Hunterdon County Academy Awards Ceremony.
There was a total of 57 graduates from the three Polytech Academies which include, the Environmental Sustainability and Applied Engineering Academy, Computer Science and Applied Engineering, and the Biomedical Sciences Academy.
“On behalf of my colleagues on the Hunterdon County Board of County Commissioners, I would like to extend our congratulations to each of tonight’s award recipients. Your hard work and dedication to your academic studies have not gone unnoticed, and tonight is an opportunity to honor your individual achievements,” Kuhl said.
Superintendent of the Hunterdon County Vocational School District, Dr. Todd Bonsall, advised that over $725,000 in scholarships was awarded to attendees, and while in high school students earned an aggregate of 400 college credits.
“Each of you should be proud of your individual, and collective accomplishments during your tenure at Polytech. Please know that my colleagues and I on the Commissioner Board, believe in the importance of vocational educational and Polytech’s ongoing mission. Your success as students, as demonstrated by your accomplishments this evening, only reaffirms our commitment. I encourage each of you to keep pursuing your academic and personal dreams,” Kuhl said.
