Do you recognize this man? Readington Township Police search for bank robbery suspect

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Police in Readington Township are looking for a suspect after a bank was robbed Wednesday.

On June 30, at 2:53 p.m., police responded to the TD Bank, located at 350 US Hwy 22 West, for a bank robbery that had just occurred, police said.

It was reported that the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money and then fled out the front door towards Old Highway 28, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man with a beard, wearing blue jean shorts, a white tee shirt, a surgical mask and sunglasses.

“There is no reason to believe the suspect is still in the area or that the public is in danger,” police said.
