Donaldson’s Greenhouse and Nursery participates in ‘Trees for Troops’

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Donaldson’s Greenhouse and Nursery is making sure that United States armed forces members have Christmas trees with the annual “Trees for Troops” program.

Trees for Troops, is a program of the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation, provides free, farm-grown Christmas Trees to United States armed forces members in all branches of the military and their families, through donations, sponsorships, grants and the work of many volunteers.

Donaldson’s Greenhouse and Nursery, located at 178 Airport Road, is proud to support the Trees for Troops initiative once again this holiday season and for a $30.00 donation you will be able to give an active duty service member and/or their family a beautiful fresh Christmas tree this year.

Donaldson’s will be offering this opportunity until December 7 at which time a Fed-Ex trailer will be loaded with the trees and taken to one of over 70 bases that have requested trees for their service members.

Last year, 203 military service members and their families received a fresh tree from Donaldson’s Greenhouse and Nursery.
