Driver airlifted to hospital after being ejected from vehicle in Hunterdon County

ALEXANDRIA TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A motorist was airlifted after being ejected from a vehicle in a Wednesday morning crash in Hunterdon County, according to New Jersey State Police Sergeant Philip Curry.

The crash happened at 11:36 a.m. on Everittstown Road in Alexandria Township, Curry said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Jeep, driven by a 55-year-old Flemington woman, lost control and overturned ejecting the driver, Curry said.

The woman was airlifted to St. Luke’s with non-life threatening injuries, Curry said.

The crash remains under investigation.
