Driver charged after doing ‘doughnuts’ in a Byram Township parking lot

BYRAM TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County man was charged after he was allegedly doing ‘doughnuts’ in a parking lot in Byram Township.

On March 27, police received a report of two vehicles driving erratically by doing “doughnuts” in the top gravel parking lot of C.O. Johnson Park, police said.

Police determined that Trevor Arnott of Byram Township was driving erratically by doing  “doughnuts” around the other vehicle that was in the parking lot.

Arnott was arrested and charged with criminal mischief. He was then released pending a court appearance, police said.

“We at the Byram Township Police Department take destruction and/or mischief to our town parks and property very seriously and will prosecute anyone caught to the fullest extent of the law,” police said.
