Driver charged with DWI, careless driving in Hunterdon County

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Somerset County man is facing charges including driving while intoxicated and careless driving in Readington Township.

On Monday, May 9, at around 8:20 p.m., police stopped Wilfrido Masis-Segura, 49, Branchburg Township for careless driving on Route 523, police said.

Masis-Segura was unable to maintain his lane and had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. He failed the officers field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while intoxicated, police said.

Masis-Segura was charged with DWI, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and unlicensed driver, police said.
