Driver dies following crash with tractor-trailer in Morris County

CHESTER, NJ (Morris County) – A driver died Friday night in a crash involving a tractor-trailer in Morris County, according to Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Officer Meghan Knab.

The crash between a car and a tractor-trailer occurred on Aug. 18, at around 10:15 p.m. on Route 206 in Chester, Knab said.

The driver of the vehicle, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead while being transported to an area hospital, Knab said.

No further information was released.

The crash remains under investigation by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office and the Chester Police Department.
