Driver flown to hospital after being trapped in Hunterdon County crash
READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A 24-year-old Readington Township man was flown to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Hunterdon County on Sunday, according to Readington Township Police Department Lieutenant Christopher DeWire.
The crash happened at 6:42 p.m. on Readington Road near Shepherds Lane in Readington Township, DeWire said.
The 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee was only occupied by the driver who was unconscious and entrapped, DeWire said.
He was extricated and then flown to an area trauma center, DeWire said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
