Driver injured after crashing into parked tractor-trailer on I-287 in Morris County
HARDING TOWNSHIP (Morris County) – A driver was injured after crashing into a parked tractor-trailer on Interstate 287 in Harding Township, Wednesday night.
The crash happened on I-287 southbound at milepost 30.6, at 9:25 p.m., New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry said.
A Nissan Altima that was traveling south on I-287 struck a Volvo tractor-trailer that was parked in the right shoulder, Curry said.
One occupant in the Nissan sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Morristown Medical Center, Curry said.
A Hackettstown man was killed Wednesday night after crashing into a parked tractor-trailer on I-80 in Parsippany-Troy Hills.
