Driver injured in single-vehicle crash in Morris County

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A 32-year-old man was injured Monday night following a single-vehicle crash in Jefferson Township, according to Jefferson Township Police Captain Robert Bush.

The crash happened at around 10:24 p.m. in the area of 200 Weldon Road, Bush said.

The driver, whose name was not released, was the only occupant in the vehicle and he was transported to Morristown Medical Center, Bush said.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Anyone with information about the crash, should contact the Jefferson Township Police Department at 973-697-1300, Bush said.

Jefferson Township police were assisted by the Jefferson Twp. Fire Co# 2 and Jefferson Twp. Rescue Squad, Morris County Sheriff’s Dept. and Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Crash investigation Team.
