Driver seriously injured when vehicle crashes into tree on Route 519 in Warren County, state police say

HARMONY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Woman was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when her vehicle crashed into a tree on Route 519 in Warren County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Detective Jeffrey Lebron.

The crash happened at around 4:07 p.m. on County Route 519 southbound at milepost 33 in Harmony Township, Lebron said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that a Honda, driven by a 57-year-old woman from White Township, was traveling southbound when the vehicle ran off the roadway right, into the woods and crashed into a tree, Lebron siad.

As a result of the crash, the woman suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation and no additional information was available, Lebron said.
