Driver seriously injured when vehicle crashes into trees on I-80 in Warren County, state police say

KNOWLTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Middlesex County man was seriously injured Saturday night when his vehicle crashed into multiple trees on Interstate 80 in Warren County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Trooper Charles Marchan said.

The crash happened at around 9:13 p.m. on Interstate 80 east at milepost 7 in Knowlton Township, Marchan said.

A preliminary police investigation revealed that Michael Bianco, 22, of Metuchen Borough was traveling east on Interstate 80 when the vehicle lost control, traveled off the interstate and impacted multiple trees, Marchan said.

As a result of the crash, the driver suffered serious injuries, Marchan said.

The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.
