Driver suffers medical emergency following crash on I-287 in Morris County

HARDING TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A driver suffered a medical emergency following a crash on Interstate 80 Wednesday evening in Morris County, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry.

The crash happened at 5:06 p.m. on Interstate 287 southbound at milepost 30.8 in Harding Township, Curry said.

A Ford Fusion was struck by a tractor-trailer that departed the scene, Curry said.

The driver of the Ford was not injured as a result of the crash but suffered a brief medical emergency. He later refused medical attention and drove away from the scene, Curry said.
