DWI checkpoint planned for May in Washington Twp

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – Washington Township police will be conducting a driving while intoxicated checkpoint during May.

The checkpoint will be established to identify any vehicle being operated while the operator is under the influence of narcotics and or alcohol. Officials did not announce the exact date or location for the checkpoint.

The checkpoint will be staffed by officers from Washington Township Police Department and will be funded by the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety, Drunk Driving Enforcement Fund.
