
Employee at senior living facility in Morris County charged with sexually assaulting resident
MORRIS PLAINS, NJ (Morris County) – A 61-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the sexual assault of a resident at a senior living center in Morris Plains, according to Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp.
Anthony Ligon of Morristown has been charged with second-degree sexual assault and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.
Ligon allegedly committed a sexual assault and an act of sexual contact on July 3, 2020 on an 82-year-old female resident who resides at Arbor Terrace Senior Living Facility, located in Morris Plains. He was employed by Arbor Terrace at the time of the offense as a maintenance technician, Knapp said.
Ligon was charged and is currently lodged at the Morris County Correctional Facility, Knapp said.
