
Erratic driver complaint leads to DWI arrest in Hackettstown
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County man is facing a driving while intoxicated charge after he was allegedly driving erratically in Hackettstown Monday afternoon.
On Nov. 6, at around 2:42 p.m., police responded to the area of Sharp St for a report of an erratic vehicle. It was reported that the driver was possibly intoxicated, police said.
The officer located and then stopped the vehicle in the parking lot of Trinity United Methodist Church. While the officer was speaking to the driver, who was identified as Dexter A. Bullard, 37, of Washington Borough, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage, police said.
Bullard was charged with driving while intoxicated, and careless driving. He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
