Erratic driver complaint leads to DWI arrest in Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A Hackettstown woman faces a driving under the influence charge after she was allegedly driving erratically.

On March 5, at around 9:40 p.m., police responded to the area of Route 517 and Route 46 for a report of an erratic motor vehicle, police said.

The officer located and stopped the vehicle on Mitchell Road. While the officer was speaking to the driver, who was identified as Diana Valencia-Sanchez, 38, of Hackettstown, the officer detected the odor of alcoholic beverage, police said.

Valencia-Sanchez was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, and careless driving. She was released pending a court appearance.
