Erratic driver complaint leads to DWI arrest in Hackettstown

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – A Morris County woman is facing a driving while intoxicated charge after she was allegedly driving erratically in Hackettstown early Saturday morning.

On Saturday, Jan. 13, at around 2:26 a.m., police responded to the area of Arthur Terrace for a report of an erratic vehicle, police said.

An officer located and then stopped the vehicle in the parking lot of Greenview Garden Apartments. While the officer was speaking to the driver, who was identified as Jessica Garcia-Gonzalez, 24, of Washington Township (Morris County), the officer allegedly detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage, police said.

Garcia-Gonzalez was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to breath test, and delaying traffic. She was released pending a court appearance, police said.
