Erratic driver complaint leads to DWI arrest in Mansfield Township

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A man is facing a slew of charges including driving while intoxicated after he was allegedly driving erratically in Mansfield Township.

On August 21, at 2:30 a.m., police were advised of an erratic vehicle traveling into Mansfield Township on Route 57. An officer observed the vehicle turn into the Mansfield Village Apartment Complex and cross over the center line, police said.

The vehicle was stopped and the 22-year-old man, whose name was not released, was determined to be intoxicated, police said.

He was arrested and charged with DWI, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving, unregistered vehicle and failure to produce an insurance card. He was released to a responsible adult pending a court appearance, police said.
