Expect single lanes in each direction at Easton-Phillipsburg ‘free bridge’ Sept. 25-29

The Easton-Phillipsburg “free bridge” is expected to be reduced to single lanes in each direction 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Monday, Sept. 25 to Friday, Sept. 29, weather permitting, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The travel restriction is needed to complete a new programmable LED lighting system on the bridge, the commission said.

Travel delays are possible, the commission said.
