Fire destroys home is Tewksbury Twp.

TEWKSBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A fire destroyed a home Wednesday afternoon in Tewksbury Township.

The fire was reported at around 3:20 p.m. at 103 Fairmount Road East, police said.

The house was fully engulfed in flames when officers arrived on scene, police said

Prior to the fire, there were reports of lightning strikes in the area, police said.

There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire did not appear to be suspicious.

The Fairmount Fire Company Pottersville Fire, Oldwick Fire, Chester Fire, Whitehouse Rescue Squad, and Tewksbury Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
