Fire destroys Bob’s Crossroads Services, several vehicles in Wantage Township

WANTAGE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Sussex County) – A fire destroyed Bob’s Crossroads Services as well as several vehicles inside it Tuesday afternoon..

The fire occurred at 1:07 p.m. at Bob’s Crossroads Services, located on Loomis Ave, in Wantage Township.

A vehicle that was getting serviced caught fire inside the garage and the fire spread to the structure. Several vehicles inside the garage as well as the structure were destroyed, according to New Jersey State Police spokesperson Sergeant Philip Curry.

The fire was under control in about an hour, Curry said.

Sussex County Hazmat responded to deal with vehicle fluid runoff. There were no injuries reported on scene, Curry said.

Several fire departments and EMS crews responded to the scene.
