Firefighter injured battling barn fire in Long Valley

LONG VALLEY, NJ (Morris County) – One firefighter was injured battling a barn fire in Long Valley Saturday afternoon.

The fire broke out at 12:27 p.m. at a residence on Mallard Cove Road. Long Valley Chief arrived on scene and confirmed the working fire.

One firefighter was reportedly injured but refused medical attention.

Emergency crews operated for about 2 and half hours on scene.

No other details were immediately available.
