Firefighter injured in blaze at strip mall in Morris County

PARSIPPANY-TROY HILLS, NJ (Morris County) – One firefighter was taken to the hospital during a fire in Parsippany-Troy Hills early Wednesday morning, according to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Parsippany Police and Fire Department responded to a large commercial fire at the Green Hill Plaza, located at 170-182 Parsippany Road, at around 12:40 a.m., prosecutors office said.

One firefighter was transported to Morristown Medical Center and is in stable condition, prosecutors office said.

“Fire units are still in the process of extinguishing the fire,” prosecutors office said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

No further information was released.
