Firefighters extinguish machinery fire in Warren County

WHITE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Firefighters extinguish a machinery fire in Warren County Sunday evening.

According to the Good Will Fire Company, at around 6:07 p.m., firefighters responded to DSM Nutritional Products, located at 206 Macks Island Drive in White Township, for reports of machinery smoldering next to a building.

Upon arrival, the fire chief sent a crew to the roof and a crew on the tower Ladder to investigate the source. It was then determined that there was an active fire, and the fire chief requested a first box alarm, authorities said.

Mutual aid from Knowlton Twp. Fire and Rescue Company, Oxford Volunteer Fire Department, Mountain Lake Fire Company, and Washington Fire Department arrived on scene to assist with fire suppression and water supply.

“Through joint efforts with our mutual aid company’s and supervisors of DSM, we were able to extinguish the fire,” authrotreis said,

All units cleared at around 9:30 p.m.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
