Flanders-Netcong road closure for Wawa project in Mount Olive Township to start on July 19

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – The new start date for the Flanders-Netcong road closure, from Route 206 to Flanders-Drakestown Road, is scheduled to start on Wednesday, July 19 at 7:00 p.m., for approximately three weeks (weather permitting).

That section of Flanders-Netcong will be closed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, according to Mount Olive Township police.

Commuters will be detoured to the Drakesdale Road/Route 206 intersection.

Once the work is complete, the new intersection will be fully operational with three lanes which will alleviate the stacking problems on Flanders-Netcong Road.
