Former employee of Sussex County repair shop pleads guilty to theft

NEWTON, NJ (Sussex County) – A former employee of a Sussex County repair shop pleads guilty to a theft charge, according to Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch.

Kevin O’Shea, 38, of Newton pled guilty to third-degree theft before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton on March 2, Koch said.

O’Shea admitted to taking funds from Hampton Body Works while he was employed there from January 2019 to March 2020. He is scheduled to be sentenced on April 22 before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C., Koch said.

O’Shea was represented by Thomas F. Militano, Esq., and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Brent M. Rafuse.
