Fugitive wanted for robbery arrested in Hunterdon County

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Washington D.C. man wanted for robbery was arrested Friday in Readington Township.

On December 10, at around 3:00 a.m., police arrested Richard L. Bennett, 31, of Washington, D.C. on a National Crime Information Center (NCIC) warrant. He was wanted by the US Marshals service on a full extradition warrant for robbery, police said.

Bennett was charged with being a fugitive from justice and lodged in the Warren County Jail, police said.
