Gift cards being collected for family that lost everything in house fire

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – Gift Cards are being collected for a family that lost everything in a house fire early Monday morning in Blairstown Township.

The fire was reported at around 4:00 a.m. at a residence on Frontage Road, according to Blairstown Township Police Chief Scott Johnsen.

“The fire started in the garage and spread to the rest of the house,” Johnsen said.

No injuries were reported, Johnsen said.

The Blairstown Police Department, Blairstown Hose Company #1 and Blairstown Ambulance Corps are accepting gift cards of any kind to help to help the family get back on their feet, Johnsen said.

Gift cards can be dropped off at the Blairstown Township Police Department, located at 106 State Highway 94, in Blairstown Township.
