Gottheimer tours state-of-the-art Council of Carpenters Apprentice Training Center

EDISON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Middlesex County) — U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) recently visited the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters Apprentice Training Center in Edison.

Gottheimer toured the state-of-the-art training facility, including training areas for carpentry, flooring, mill-cabinet, and other trades.

Gottheimer met with members of the Laborers’ International Union of North America, the Iron Workers Union, and the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters.

“I will always fight to help the hard-working men and women of labor who have built our great state and I’ll continue to encourage more young individuals to join a trades union. I’m so grateful that labor has had my back since I got to Congress and I’ll continue to do everything I can to always have their backs here in Jersey and in Washington, D.C.,” Gottheimer said.

Gottheimer was joined by Cyndi William, and Bruce Garganio from Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters, representatives of LiUNA, and local Iron Workers.
